Violet is a vivacious woman who goes after what she wants and always gets it. She has her own gin distillery where she creates unique flavours and has a passion for making her gin a success.
Logan runs his own tavern in Ticklemore with the help of his mum. He’s extremely close to his ailing mother who needs a lot of care and management.
Violet goes to Ticklemore Tavern to sell her gin and finds immediate attraction with the tavern owner, Logan. As they begin to date, Logan’s mothers health declines and it becomes difficult for them to be together.
I really enjoyed reading this and often found myself chuckling along with Violet’s and Logan’s flirting. While I hated a particular character, that was exactly how I was meant to feel about them.
When the character that’s meant to be bad is so well written you hate them more and more the more you read. You know the author has captured them perfectly.
For a feel good, enjoyable romance that you can just chuckle along with and hate on the bad character, this is a really fun read!

Liz Davies writes feel-good, light-hearted stories with a hefty dose of romance, a smattering of humour, and a great deal of love.
She’s married to her best friend, has one grown-up daughter, and when she isn’t scribbling away in the notepad she carries with her everywhere (just in case inspiration strikes), you’ll find her searching for that perfect pair of shoes. She loves to cook but isn’t very good at it, and loves to eat – she’s much better at that! Liz also enjoys walking (preferably on the flat), cycling (also on the flat), and lots of sitting around in the garden on warm, sunny days.
She currently lives with her family in Wales, but would ideally love to buy a camper van and travel the world in it.
