How I found Rebecca's books

Rebecca reached out to me to review her debut book (although she’s finished the series now) through my Review Request page.

Why you should read Rebecca's books

The details that Rebecca includes are so well thought out and everything she includes seems to have a purpose. Even if it’s not immediately evident as to why, it seems to.

I’m really looking forward to finishing the series and bringing you my thouts on the series as a whole. Because the first book left me wanting more with a great set up for book 2!

What Rebecca writes about

Rebecca’s series has a very dystopian/sci-fi feel to it. It’s another take on what could happen and is so fascinating!

My chat with Rebecca

1. What first drew you to writing novels?

I’ve always loved to tell stories. I wrote stories as a kid and kept trying my hand at it over the years until I finally finished a novel. I just love inhabiting different worlds.

3. What drew you to your genre?

I hope to one day write a story in every genre, but I’m definitely drawn to sci-fi/fantasy. I just love the idea of other worlds, futuristic settings and magic.

5. What is your greatest writing achievement?

Having written and published my first book, honestly. That was a huge personal achievement for me and I’m proud of myself for doing it. After that, completing the series as a whole. I’m still shocked that I managed to!

2. What is your aim with your writing?

No aim, really. I just want to tell as many stories as I can, write as many books as I can.

4. How do you decide what stays in your books when editing?

It’s a long, arduous process! I sometimes go thousands of words in the wrong direction plot wise. But I just keep developing the plot until it all falls into place.
