Izzy is the middle sister of triplets who have been given the opportunity to experience a season in London. While she’s the most outspoken of the three sisters, and all they’ve ever known is the quiet rural life. She’s always dreamed of a bigger world, and going to London is the opportunity of a lifetime for her.

Claudio is the third son of the ruler of Andernach, and spending time in England to see the world and get away from his overbearing, strict parents and family expectations. While in England, he’s been enjoying himself and living up his bachelor lifestyle.

Izzy and her sisters are travelling to London to experience a London season, and hopefully find out more about who their parents were. On the way to London, Izzy and Claudio meet by chance sparking the start of something more.

The confidence that Izzy has in herself, and her worth was so fun to see and explore as she spent more time in London. While Claudio kept trying to figure out Izzy and what he wants from life, Izzy spent her time enjoying London and making the most of her time there.

And while I can understand Claudio enjoying his freedom, especially because he hasn’t had a chance to do so before. I did enjoy the growth he displayed over the course of the book.

What I’m hoping comes from this match, is Claudio being able to take Izzy to see the world and spread her wings in the way she deserves. With his family based in Andernach, and being a third son, he has more flexibility that allows him to offer more choice to Izzy which I know she’d love.
